Recently I have been getting into serious mess because of all the urgent work due in a week. I like to agree with Tim Urban from his famous ted talk about procrastinatin that we all are procrastinators but some of us are in a deeper mess while others know how to maintian a healthy relationship with deadlines. Procrastination is the worst obstacle I have in my life that I needed to overcome in order to be more productive and achieve my goals. recently, I came across a very effective technique to fight procrastination, it is known as the pomodoro technique.

This technique not only helpde me complete my work in time but also enabled me to fight procrastination and get important things done before moving towards the less important tasks. I started experimenting with this technique a few days ago. Initially it was a bit difficult but eventually I got the hang of it and it actually became very exciting. Although, it helped me get the same amount of work done in a day but I was able to complete work on time, saving myself good time for other activities such as spending time with family, watching shows, going to bed early, etc.

The process

This technique has helped me a lot and i have added my own time spam in it. The orignal time suggested in the technique is 25 minutes of non-stop work but I increased it to 1 hour because I have a lot of work to complete in a week. And it is proving to be very effective ❤
