There’s power in this word, Amal. To me, it means to start, to take initiative, to do something about what you have been or are trying to do. I implemented this thought into action through a recent activity. it was a weekly plan and this time I didn't just leave it around the corner like any other to-do list and procrastinated on it. and trust me, it changed a lot for me.

I and friend started a business where we promote individual differences and the importance of personal space and we sell paintings to decorate those personal spaces. We call it “The restorative Niche” and by personal space, I mean a place where you go to restore and feel good about yourself. A place where you can go recharge into your own world, a place that defines your personality.

For the improvement of my business, I did a #juststart project assigned by the very amazing Amal academy that I have had the chance to join last month. I wrote down three goals to complete in a week and it helped me a lot to complete what I have been wanting to. It included introducing a new theme to our business catalog, designing the customized orders, and designing new posts for our Instagram Page.

Connect

Task 1. Creating a new theme.

Made a new theme related to the BLM campaign in the USA. We have started taking donations for BLM and this theme was made in that honor.

We call this theme, Connect ❤

Task 2: Design Customized Painting

We received an order to make something for our customer’s friend as their birthday gift. We asked them what that person likes the most and I designed this painting for them.
It’s a quote by Jungkook from BTS, a Korean pop band.

Task 3: Designing new social media

with the help of my friend, who is the co founder of TRN, i was able to introduce new content to our audience on intagram. And we have been getting more reviews
